Keeman Black Tea is a world famous top Chinese black tea produced since 1875 using the techniques adapted from Bohea farmers in Fujian Province, hometown of Mylovetea Dr. Tea. The tea-growing region lies between the Yellow Mountains and the Yangtze River, similar to that of Huangshan Maofeng. Keemun Black Tea undergoes particularly slow withering and oxidation processes, yielding more nuanced aroma and flavor compared to other black tea. It has characteristic fruit and slightly smoky aroma and a gentle, malty, non-astringent taste reminiscent of unsweetened cocoa. Top varieties have orchid-like fragrance and additional floral notes in the flavor. Keeman Black Tea contains large amount of vitamin c and calcium, copper, zinc and other trace elements. Keemun is a not to be missed tea!
